A penthouse under construction on Waikiki Beach in the Hawaiian city of Honolulu is listing for nearly $25 million, according to a spokesperson for the developer. Located in the Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach, the condominium will span more than 5,100 square feet. Known as the Diamond Head penthouse, the corner unit will feature a double-height living room with nearly 19-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the crater Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. With four bedrooms, 5½ baths and a media room, the penthouse will include 1,600 square feet of outdoor space on the third level. The rooftop will have a 25-foot swimming pool, a hot tub and a lounge, as well as a dining area with an outdoor kitchen. There will also be gardens and room for a putting green. The apartment is the biggest of six furnished penthouses available in the Residences’ east tower. The west tower includes nine penthouses, all of which were previously sold. Penthouse residents will have private direct elevator access, a dedicated concierge and parking. Completion is expected in late 2017.
