If you’re a football fan and have dreamed of playing like one of your idols, whether it’s Tom Brady, Eli Manning or Adrian Peterson, hopefully you’ve accepted by now that this is never going to happen. But what isn’t completely out of reach is actually living like the stars by snagging one of their amazing homes currently on the market.
Mansion Global has compiled an all-star list of properties for sale from today’s NFL stars.
Owner: Tom Brady, New England Patriots quarterback Location: New York, New York Price: $17.25 million
Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen are offloading this 3,300-square-foot three-bedroom home at One Madison for $17.25 million. They reportedly bought the apartment in 2014 for just over $11.7 million.
One bonus of this property is its famous neighbors, including media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who owns the top four floors at One Madison. (Mr. Murdoch is the Executive Chairman of News Corp., which owns Dow Jones, publisher of Mansion Global.)
Owner: Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Location: Irving, Texas Price: $1.05 million
Everything in Texas is bigger. And the Cowboys’ Tony Romo’s home is much bigger and less expensive than Mr. Brady’s Manhattan residence. The two-story, 5,551-square-foot contemporary home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. The master suite comes with a huge bath with jet tub, walk-in shower, and his and hers closets. The private backyard has a pool, spa, grill and seating area to entertain guests.
Mr. Romo has been loyal to the Cowboys for 14 consecutive seasons, but he is hoping to ditch this home for $1.05 million, after living there for eight years.
Owner: Eli Manning, New York Giants quarterback Price: $5.2 million Location: Hoboken, New Jersey
Eli Manning’s New Jersey waterfront condo, created by combining three units in the Hudson Tea Building, offers over 3,500 square feet with views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline. There are three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The kitchen features high-end appliances, custom cabinetry, and limestone countertops.
Last year, Mr. Manning, his wife Abby, and three daughters aged 4, 2 and 1, moved to the much more suburban town of Summit, New Jersey.
Owner: Robert Griffin III, Cleveland Browns quarterback Location: Leesburg, Virginia Price: $2.75 million
After leaving the Washington Redskins for the Cleveland Browns this year, Robert Griffin III is trying to sell his Virginia home for $2.749 million.
Sitting on a three-acre tree-lined and fenced-in lot, the 8,561-square-foot residence features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a walk-in-closet and a home theater. It also has a heated custom pool with spa and pool house. In addition, the estate boasts a wine cellar, a wet bar and an elevator.
Owner: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings running back Location: Texas Price: $6.7 million
Texas native Adrian Peterson put his sprawling Texas home on the market in July for $6.7 million.
Situated on a nine-acre of lot, this one-of-a-kind custom home features six bedrooms, 10 and a half bathrooms, a winding staircase, a two-story library and five fireplaces. Downstairs, there is a full bar with game room and media room attached. Outdoors, there are two kitchens and a pool with spa.
