Westeros might have its perks, but for "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke, the West Coast probably has more—especially when a brand-new Venice, California, home is in the picture.
According to reports, the 29-year-old English actress—a.k.a. the platinum-haired Daenerys Targaryen on HBO's hit series based on the books by George R.R. Martin—shelled out $4.64 million for a two-bedroom, three-bath pad that definitely fits the bill as far as being impressive enough for a bona fide It-girl. Designed by award-winning architects Abramson Teiger, an excess of natural light is part of the home's character, as are 18-foot ceilings, the giant living room with a floor-to-ceiling bookcase (soon to be filled with the best of Martin’s novels, perhaps?) and sliding glass doors that open up to a 30-foot pool, garden and covered outdoor lounge area. Oh, and Ms. Clarke's new crib is steps from the beach.

Built in 2009, the home also includes a chic gourmet kitchen with soapstone countertops, a master suite that's equipped with an expansive custom designed closet—ideal for Ms. Clarke, who's a red carpet regular—and cool perks like heated floors throughout, a living room fireplace, and 80-year-old olive trees in the garden, according to the listing.
The listing agent for the property didn't immediately return a request for comment.
Ms. Clarke has starred in all six seasons of "Game of Thrones" and has been nominated for three Emmys. She also starred in this summer’s blockbuster "Me Before You."
