U.K. tycoon Dino Lalvani, chairman and CEO of Binatone Communications Group, has put his Miami Beach condo in the intimate Beach House 8 residence on the market for $8.3 million, or for rent at $32,000 a month.

Purchased pre-development in 2014 for $5.6 million, the four-bedroom and four-bathroom unfurnished unit has 3,783 square feet of living space and 3,000 square feet of outdoor terraces with a private hot tub, summer kitchen and retractable awnings.

"The owner lives between London and Hong Kong, and thought he’d be coming to Miami more, but plans have changed," said Daniela Bonetti, the listing agent with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. "This building is perfect for someone who’s looking for privacy. Two units were combined, so now there are only seven owners."

Each unit has its own floor, with 10-foot ceilings, wood floors, energy efficient LED lighting, audio speakers throughout, and sweeping beachfront views. The fully automated unit comes with audio, video, HVAC, lighting and shade controls.

The open-plan unit includes a dining/living room, high-impact floor-to-ceiling windows, custom closets and draperies just installed. Two master bathrooms have dual ceiling and wall rain showerheads in separate tub and shower arrangements, with fixtures and cabinetry from Boffi, Duravit and Dornbracht.

The kitchen features Miele professional-grade, stainless-steel appliances, Boffi cabinetry, and a Miele wine cooler. Countertops and backsplashes are done in Calacatta Gold marble, quarried in Italy.

The building, which opened in June, has an abstract rectangle design with an exterior made entirely of glass, conceived by Arquitectonica.

"It has the feeling of being on a boat," Ms. Bonetti said. "The railings of the balconies are made with titanium wires, held in stainless steel frames, like you’d find on a boat."

The building’s common areas include a 75-foot heated pool with Jacuzzi and yoga terrace. Each owner has a private cabana near the pool. Amenities include 24-hour valet parking, beach service, pool service, concierge services, and a 24-hour doorman.
