Instead of taking the train from Westchester to Manhattan, "The Girl on the Train" is catching a ride to Park Slope.

Emily Blunt, who stars in the recently released thriller, moved to a townhouse in Park Slope, Brooklyn, this summer, along with her husband John Krasinski, according to DNAinfo. They brought with them two new additions to the Park Slope stroller set: their daughters, Violet and Hazel.

The couple purchased the historic home right off of Prospect Park for $6 million late last year. According to Page Six, they lived on the Upper East Side during the filming of "The Girl on the Train" this past winter, but were planning on moving to Brooklyn afterwards. They performed a $300,000 renovation on the home, according to Luxury Listings.

The six-bedroom, almost 3,400-square-foot home was built in 1899, and features an ornate limestone façade and period details galore, including inlaid parquet floors, bay windows, paneling, crown moldings, fireplaces, stained glass windows and skylights. The home is also just a block away from Prospect Park.. They are a stone’s throw away from hip Brooklyn establishments such as Talde and the romantic restaurant, Al Di La, perfect for what Mr. Krasinski told People Magazine is the couple’s preferred date night."We just go to dinner and talk and have no baby talk," he said.

For when the girls get older, their local school, PS. 321 William Penn, is one of the best in the city, according to Schooldigger.com. Their girls are sure to be popular among the local children: Blunt is slated to appear in a Mary Poppins reboot, according to Variety.

Ms. Blunt, 33, is also famous for such films as "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Sicario." Mr. Krasinski, 36, is most known for his role as "Jim" on The Office. He also directed and is starring in the a new film "The Hollars."

The couple seems to be enjoying the anonymity that laid-back Brooklyn provides. In an interview with InStyle, Ms. Blunt said: "Most people who live in Brooklyn are very respectful of our privacy, so I feel protected here…You don’t get screamed at in the street. If anything, people are like, ‘Oh, I love your movie,’ and that’s it."
