Supermodel-turned-entrepreneur Christie Brinkley is relisting her 19th-century bayfront Hamptons home for $25 million, a significant markup from its last listing price.

Ms. Brinkley, who owns a substantial real-estate portfolio, first listed the white-columned Sag Harbor Colonial in 2010 for $15.75 million, telling The Wall Street Journal at the time that she had planned to renovate it but didn’t have time. When it failed to sell, she took it off the market and did some remodeling, though the five-bedroom house still needs work, said listing agent Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

Now Ms. Brinkley is putting it on the market again, and Mr. Morabito said the higher price reflects a steep uptick in prices for waterfront land on the East End. In particular, he said this property is valuable for its size, water frontage and proximity to the shops and restaurants of Sag Harbor Village. "If it didn’t need work, I would list for around $40 million," he said.

He added that the last time the property was listed, the Hamptons market was still recovering from the mid-2000s real estate downturn. "The market was still correcting itself," he said.

Overlooking Sag Harbor Bay, the property sits on 4.5 acres with about 330 feet of beachfront. The roughly 5,500-square-foot house was originally built around 1843, and it retains period details such as wide-plank pine floors and multiple wood-burning fireplaces. The master suite has its own sitting room and terrace with views of the harbor. A large stone terrace overlooks a grassy lawn leading down to the beach, where there’s a fire pit with benches. The grounds also include a gunite swimming pool.

Ms. Brinkley purchased the house in 2004 for $7.15 million, according to public records. The property is one of several East End homes she has bought and sold over the years, including the house next door, which she bought in 2007 for $9.99 million and then sold six years later for $10 million, according to public records. In June she listed Tower Hill, her 20-acre estate home in Bridgehampton, for $29.5 million with Mr. Morabito. Her home in the Turks and Caicos Islands has also been on and off the market over the past few years.

Ms. Brinkley is selling the Hamptons properties because of her busy travel schedule and because she’s downsizing now that her children are in college, Mr. Morabito said.
