‘McDreamy’ Reportedly Buys Malibu Home After Reuniting with Wife

The couple announced in January 2015 that they were getting divorced, but called it off a year later

Although he had a starring role in "Bridget Jones’s Baby," it’s fair to say that Patrick Dempsey must have more time on his hands now that he doesn’t have a grueling shooting schedule for "Grey’s Anatomy."

Perhaps that’s why the 50-year-old actor, who played Seattle-based surgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd, a.k.a. McDreamy, for around a decade, has been making some real estate moves.

According to TMZ, he and his wife, Jillian Fink, paid $6.4 million for a four-bedroom Malibu home complete with a salt-water pool and a tennis court, just a short drive away from the beach.

The couple, who married in 1999, announced in January 2015 that they were getting divorced, but called it off a year later. During their plans to get divorced, Ms. Fink bought herself a home in Pacific Palisades, only to later sell it for a $1.5 million profit.
