A sculptural home on the Miami waterfront is listing for $50 million.

Roughly 20,000 square feet, the tropical contemporary three-story home in Coconut Grove has seven bedrooms, according to listing agent Pablo Alfaro of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Known as Casa Bahia, the home is accessed through a courtyard with a floating staircase suspended above a pool of water. Floor-to-ceiling glass, wraparound terraces and a roof deck provide views of Biscayne Bay. The roughly 1-acre lot also contains a heated infinity swimming pool and an eight-car garage, Mr. Alfaro said.

The owner, Colombian interior designer Catalina Echavarria, said she bought the land about 10 years ago but wasn’t ready to build until recently. She created the home’s interiors, designing a number of pieces of furniture, which are included in the asking price.

Ms. Echavarria said she moved in about a year ago. She’s selling the house because she also has a home in Bali and spends much of her time traveling.
