A 40-acre Napa Valley winery, including a 9,600-square-foot main residence, has hit the market for $33.15 million.
The vineyard for sale produces Juslyn wines, a locally recognized winery started by two former San Francisco tech entrepreneurs, Perry and Carolyn Butler. The next owner won’t just inherit the capacity to vint his own Bordeaux-style vino, the owners are also throwing in the current inventory of Juslyn wines, a value of $7.2 million, according to the listing agents.

The Butlers, originally from the United Kingdom, bought the property in St. Helena in 1998 for $3.5 million after selling their tech business, according to Napa County property records. They harvested their first grapes, cabernet sauvignon, in 2000, according to the winery’s website.
"Since then, there has been no turning back. Perry and Carolyn have committed to making the best wine possible in the heart of Napa Valley's acclaimed Spring Mountain District," the website says.
Their wines have included a 2013 limited reserve merlot, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and a cab blend, with profits going toward training service dogs.
But it looks like the tech tycoons-turned-oenophiles are looking for greener pastures.
The vineyard has come on and off the market since 2009, but never sold. A manager at the winery did not immediately return a request for comment.
The property also comes with an Italianate-style residence with an expansive motor court and soaring ceiling heights, according to the listing agents, Aaron Kirman, president of Aaroe Estates, and Estates Director Neyshia Go.
The home has a formal dining room with double ceiling heights and room for 30, plus a full bar. There are seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, a music room and gym—all looking out over the estate.

Beside the home is a separate guest house, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a pizza oven and barbecue.
The estate boasts an 80-foot pool with ample outdoor entertainment space, according to the listing. Of course, the property also has ample wine storage with a cellar and tasting room.
Mr. Kirman referred to the property as the "the quintessential Napa Valley wine country lifestyle."
Seven of the 40 acres are planted with grapevines, while the rest include landscaped koi ponds, olive trees, a greenhouse, vegetable garden, lakeside gazebo and a place to park your helicopter.
