You can live like Oprah Winfrey and Billy Joel if you buy the Nate Berkus-flipped home the celebrity designer is selling in Los Angeles.

Mr. Berkus—who counts Ms. Winfrey and Mr. Joel among his—and his husband (and fellow interior designer), Jeremiah Brent's clients, have put the Hollywood Hills home they bought last year for $2.36 million on the market for $2.995 million.

The Spanish-style house was built in the 1920s, and boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms, according to the listing. It’s been reimagined by the couple.

"The most important thing about the house is that it’s very light and bright, which isn’t often the case with a Spanish-style house," Brent Watson of Compass, who is representing the property exclusively, tells Mansion Global.

Architectural details, like casement windows and high ceilings, make it really stand out, says Mr. Watson.

The house is perched above Hollywood Boulevard, around the corner from classic celebrity hangout Chateau Marmont.

But there’s plenty of wining and dining that can be done without going anywhere. At over 3,600 square feet, the house feels designed to entertain. "The modern kitchen is phenomenal, and it fits in really well with the house," says Mr. Watson says.

Outside, there’s a swimming pool with several patios, and gardens with outdoor seating.

The master bedroom has a private patio overlooking Los Angeles, a walk-in closet and built-in shelving.

This could be the aesthetically gifted couple’s second real estate transaction of the year. According to Luxury Listings, they sold their West Village penthouse earlier this year for $9.8 million. That one sold for about $700,000 under asking price.
