The seller and his wife bought this modernist house on 5.1 acres in 1997. They raised their children there, and on Saturday mornings, took them on long hikes through the Arthur W. Butler Memorial Sanctuary, a nearby park with 363 acres of forests, streams and swamps. The children have since left home, and the couple is downsizing to a smaller house in nearby Pound Ridge.

But there’s more to do than gawk at celebrities. The Byram Lake Reservoir allows those with permits to boat, and fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye and catfish.
The aforementioned Butler Sanctuary is home to hawks and falcons during their autumn migration. There are also white-tailed deer, red fox, coyote and great-horned owls.
