She always insists that she’s just an ordinary south London girl at heart, but it appears that Grammy-award winning singer Adele is swapping the U.K. for L.A.
The singer has reportedly sold her three-bedroom townhouse in Brighton, a seaside town about an hour outside of London for £2.85million ($3.75 million), making a £350,000 ($461,000) profit, according to The Sun.

Instead, she has moved into a $9.5 million, 6,600-square-foot mansion in an exclusive gated community in Beverly Hills where her neighbors will include actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Cameron Diaz and has pledged to stay there for at least eight months.
She bought that four-bedroom property earlier this year and also managed to nab herself a discount from the original listing price of $9.9 million. It has an outdoor treehouse and train set, which will no doubt be used by her son Angelo.

Adele also owns two mews houses in the posh Kensington neighborhood in west London, which she is turning into one home. She bought both of these for around $7.9 million each, according to the Daily Mail, and is also said to have bought a house in London for her mother.
