NFL place-kicker Matt Bryant is listing his Gulf Coast vacation home—aptly named ‘Kicking Back’—for $3.35 million.

The waterfront home is located in Orange Beach, Ala., an area popular with tourists for its beaches and fishing on the Gulf of Mexico, explained listing agent Kathy Trice of Kaiser Sotheby’s International Realty. On Ono Island, the Bryants’ roughly ¾-acre property has a private beach and about 100 feet of frontage on Old River, close to where it feeds into the Gulf, Ms. Trice said.

Mr. Bryant, 41, has played for the Atlanta Falcons since 2009. The Texas native and his wife Melissa, who have seven children ranging in age from 4 to 18, use the roughly 8,000-square-foot, eight-bedroom house as a getaway from their primary home in Atlanta, Mr. Bryant said. "Whenever we have a chance, we go down there," he said.

The kitchen has 16-foot-high ceilings and quartzite countertops that cost about $43,000. The three-story house also has an elevator, a 1,100-gallon built-in fish tank and two laundry rooms, one of which has a walk-in dog shower for the family’s 130-pound South African Boerboel, Dixie. "Her shower is probably as good as everybody else’s," Mr. Bryant said. Outdoors, a saltwater heated pool has a swim-up bar, which connects to a covered outdoor kitchen where the family likes to boil crawfish, Mr. Bryant said. The property also has a covered dock, where he keeps a boat and jet skis.

While they built the house with the intention of relocating there permanently after he retires, Mr. Bryant said they’re planning instead to build "Kicking Back 2," another house with more land.
