In New L.A. Tower, Renters Can Run Errands in a Bentley, Relax in Their Own Private Park

New luxury tower offers residents resort-like amenities and services

Shooting for a five-star hotel lifestyle, a new ultra-luxury rental building coming to Los Angeles in January will offer residents chauffeured Rolls-Royces, Bentleys and Cadillac Escalades; complimentary daily breakfast and their own private park.

With rents starting at $8,500 a month, and going up to $25,000 for penthouses, the 283-unit, 40-story glass tower called Ten Thousand will offer 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities with a staff of 60 employees, including four butlers and chauffeurs that can drive residents in luxury vehicles to nearby locations upon their request, according to the property’s developer, Crescent Heights.

Designed by Handel Architects and located at the intersection of Beverly Hills and Century City, the building will offer units featuring window walls that frame views of downtown Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills and the Pacific Ocean. Some of the two-and-three bedroom units will also include private terraces.

Besides a south-facing one-acre private park, outdoors amenities at Ten Thousand will include a heated pool, a heated dining terrace, a screen for movies in the park, and a tennis court with private instruction available. But for those who are not into sports, the tennis court can accommodate a 7,000-square-foot tent to be turned it into a private party venue with capacity for up to 650 guests, according to the developers.

Indoors, residents will have at their disposal a 75-foot lap pool with underwater speakers, a spa, a sauna and steam rooms. A wellness room will allow residents to have their doctors come to the property to perform non-surgical procedures, such as Botox treatments. An on-site charging station will come in handy for electric-car riders.

But not only humans will be pampered at this new building. Four-leg residents will be able to enjoy an enclosed 2,000 square-foot dog run and a pet spa.
