The late Lord Richard Attenborough’s home in the south of France has been put on the market for €2.5 million ($2.75 million), just days after his Scottish farmhouse went up for sale.

While he is probably best known in the U.S. for his role in the movies “Jurassic Park,” “Gandhi” and the remake of “Miracle on 34th Street,” the British actor, who died in 2014 at age 90, was also a well-known director, politician, philanthropist and entrepreneur.

His retreat in the French Riviera, which he bought in the 1980s, is in the village of Châteauneuf-Grasse, which dates to the 12th century and is about 25 kilometers from Cannes and 35 from Nice.

The estate comprises approximately 10 acres of grounds with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding countryside, as well as a swimming pool, a covered patio and hundreds of century-old olive trees, according to the listing agent.

The 2,500-square-foot main house has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a huge open-space living room, a drawing room with exposed wood-beamed ceiling and a dining room with a wood-burning fireplace.

It is listed with Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty, and the asking price includes furniture and other select belongings of the late Lord Attenborough.

The listing followed reports earlier this month that his cottage on the Isle of Bute, a small Scottish island, is also up for sale with a £680,000 ($892,948) price tag. The three-bedroom farmhouse, known as Rhubodach House, was the hideaway where he entertained Hollywood A-listers.

Both properties are being sold after his widow Sheila Sim, died in January.
