The former Harlem home of poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou has a new owner, according to public records.
Located at 58 W. 120th St., the property sold last month for $4.075 million, city records show. The listing broker, Link NY Realty, gives a slightly higher sale price on its website: $4.2 million. The listing agent did not respond to requests for comments.

The townhouse was offered several times as a rental, asking close to $10,000 a month earlier this year, according to StreetEasy.
Public records identify the buyer as 58 West 120 LLC of New York.
According to the Real Deal, which first reported the sale, the property entered the market in January for $5.1 million, but the price was later reduced to $4.95 million.
Angelou, who recited her poem “On the Pulse of Morning” at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration in 1993, reportedly bought the 20-room house in 2004. She died in 2014 at age 86.
The townhouse has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half- bathrooms, according to the listing. Built in the 1900s, the home maintains the original wooden details and banisters, and its 12-foot-plus-high ceilings are rich with chandeliers, according to a description on StreetEasy. Other features include an elevator and private garden.
