After snapping up actor Richard Gere’s waterfront Hamptons estate, “Today” show co-anchor Matt Lauer is listing his nearby Sag Harbor home for $17.995 million, according to listing agent Susan Breitenbach of the Corcoran Group.

With roughly 25 acres of gardens and rolling lawns, the gated estate contains a six-bedroom house built by Mr. Lauer and his wife Annette around 2001, Ms. Breitenbach said. The traditional-style, shingled house measures approximately 8,000 square feet. The grounds also include a roughly 70-foot-long heated outdoor pool, a pool house and a tennis court, she said. There is another building lot on the property for a guesthouse; Ms. Breitenbach said she’s not sure whether the property could be subdivided.

Mr. Lauer is in contract to buy Strongheart Manor, Mr. Gere’s bay-front estate about 7 miles away in the village of North Haven. It had been listed for $36.5 million; Ms. Breitenbach, who is also the listing agent for that property, declined to reveal the sale price. The roughly 6-acre property first went on the market in 2013 with another firm asking $65 million. Ms. Breitenbach relisted the property about two months ago.

Mr. Lauer, who has been co-anchor of “Today” since 1997, is also listing a three-bedroom pond-front cottage he owns in Southampton for $3.95 million with Ms. Breitenbach. Mr. Lauer paid $2.15 million for the house in 2009. Bright Side Farm, his roughly 40-acre equestrian facility in Water Mill, isn't on the market.

Mr. Gere could not be reached for comment.
