A NOHO penthouse that once belonged to pop star Britney Spears has hit the market again after failing to sell at $7.6 million since this January. The apartment is now available for rent at $24,000 a month.

Spears purchased the penthouse, located at 14 East 4th St., for $3 million in 2002. She racked up $1 million in profit when she sold it in 2006.

“The current owner bought it as an investment property,” said listing agent Oren Shalev of Anchor Associates, who confirmed Spears was a prior owner. “We want to rent it out until the real estate market comes back strong,” he said.

The apartment was on the market for $9 million last year.

Per the listing, the 4,400-square-foot penthouse covers the 10th, 11th, 12th and penthouse floors of the historic Silk Building. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all located on the 12th floor. The kitchen has custom cabinets, a Viking stove and Sub-Zero fridge, and the dining area boasts a retro red leather banquette.

The three bedrooms are located on the lower floors. There are four-and-a-half baths throughout. And on the rooftop, there is also a spacious terrace with views of downtown Manhattan.

There are four-and-a-half baths total in the penthouse that was once owned by Britney Spears.
