People all over the world visit the Eiffel Tower every year, but thanks to the vacation rental service company HomeAway, for the first time ever, four sets of travelers will experience living there for one night during UEFA Euro 2016.

French interior designer Benoît Leleu, commissioned by HomeAway, transformed a conference room in the Eiffel Tower into a temporary soccer-themed apartment within 48 hours.

Mr. Leleu drew inspiration from the Parisian Haussmann style, but combined modern touches. The temporary living space has a comfortable living area, an urban greenhouse, and two bedrooms, all featuring furnishings by Italian design house Lago.

HomeAway held a competition before the kickoff of Euro Cup, asking participants “What would you do if the HomeAway Eiffel Tower Apartment was all yours for a night?” From more than 150,000 entries, four winners were chosen to realize their dream of living in the Eiffel Tower. They are allowed to invite up to five special guests to enjoy a night filled with quintessential French activities and cuisine.

The first winner will stay on Thursday, June 23.

“We present this unprecedented Eiffel Tower history-making adventure, guaranteed to provide the most epic vacation memories of a lifetime,” said Brian Sharples, co-founder and CEO of HomeAway, in a statement.

Soaring 187 feet (about 57 meters) off the ground, the HomeAway Eiffel Tower Apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows that offer guests stunning view of the Grand Palais, the Arc de Triomphe, the Seine River and the Euro Cup fan zone below.
