Clothing and furniture designer James Perse is listing a fully furnished Malibu “farmhouse” for $12.995 million. The six-bedroom house measures about 7,400 square feet, according to listing agent Lily Harfouche of Compass. Located on roughly 2 acres in the Point Dume area, the estate also includes a roughly 50-foot-long swimming pool and an attached two-car garage, as well as keyed access to Little Dume Beach. Mr. Perse bought the house in 2013 for $6.69 million, according to property records. The designer, who owns two other homes in Malibu, said he bought the house as an investment and spent about a year renovating and furnishing it. He said he aimed to infuse the house with “old-world kind of farmer charm” and was inspired by Point Dume’s “ranch sensibility.” More:Playboy Mansion to Sell for $105 Million, Could Set Price Record for Los Angeles He filled the house with a mix of antiques, custom pieces and items from his eponymous furniture collection.
