Miami is no stranger to branded residences. A handful of fashion houses and luxury labels have bestowed their names on sky-grazing towers that will soon grace the South Florida coastline. And now, the vibrant fashion house Missoni is joining the group with Missoni Baia — the first residential collection from Italy’s “first family of fashion”— and Mansion Global has an exclusive look at the interiors.

Set in Miami’s up-and-coming Edgewater neighborhood, the 57-story tower will sit on 200 feet of waterfront on Biscayne Bay. The building will consist of 146 residences — with only three units per floor – ranging from two to four bedrooms. There will be three duplex apartments with expansive terraces, in addition to two duplex penthouses with private plunge pools and glass-enclosed staircases.

The building’s interior design will reflect the colorful palette that has become Missoni’s trademark, and will include items from the brand’s home collection. This signature style will extend to the amenities, including a deck with cabanas and five swimming pools.

Australian designer Paris Forino, whose firm is behind the interiors of Manhattan’s 389 E. 89 and Steiner East Village condominiums, will be designing the residences. Elevators will open directly to the apartments, which will feature a neutral palette and deep, shaded terraces with views of Biscayne Bay.

The condominium is being developed by OKO Group, the Miami-based property development firm founded by Russian real estate mogul, Vladislav Doronin, who’s also the owner of luxury hotel operator, Aman. Missoni Baia is one of three luxury condo projects Doronin plans to build in South Florida.

The Wall Street Journal reports that OKO will sell units for an average cost of $900 a square foot. The construction of Missoni Baia is expected to begin next year, with completion planned for late 2019, according to a spokeswoman for the developer.

For those who’d prefer to move in sooner, here’s a look at some other branded developments currently on the market in Miami.

Residences by Armani/Casa

Davide Lovatti

Dezer Development teamed up with the Related Group to build this 308-unit condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, which broke ground in January. As its name may suggest, fashion designer Giorgio Armani will design the interiors and finishes.

The residences at Armani/Casa are priced from $2 million to more than $9 million. The penthouse, available for $15 million, comes with several perks, including two first-class, round-trip tickets to Milan, and a two-night stay at Armani Hotel Milano. Completion is expected in 2018.

Fendi Château Residences

Fendi Château Residences

In neighboring Surfside, Italian fashion house Fendi and Argentine Château Group are developing Fendi Château Residences, a 12-story building with 58 apartments. Ponds of water overlooking 300 feet of private beachfront will be surrounded by tropical gardens.

Fendi is designing the building’s interiors with Colombian designer Fanny Haim. The three- to five-bedroom residences, which will open to private terraces, will include spacious master suites. The gourmet kitchens come with custom Fendi cabinets.

Porsche Design Tower

Porsche Design Tower

Dezer and German sports cars manufacturer Porsche are developing the $560 million Porsche Design Tower, also under construction in Sunny Isles. The building will be equipped with a glass car elevator, enabling residents to park in “sky garages” right next to their units. Completion is scheduled for September of this year.
