The tallest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere has a brand new resident, albeit an anonymous one.
A full-floor unit located on the 79th floor has been sold, M18, the public relations firm representing 432 Park Avenue, confirmed to Mansion Global. But they declined to offer details about the transaction, or overall sales activity at the ultra luxury condominium in Manhattan.
According to a published report, the $59.1 million apartment is the priciest so far at the Macklowe Properties and CIM Group development. The buyer of the 8,000-plus-square-foot residence was only identified as 432 Crotona Park Avenue LLC of Los Angeles.

There are currently nine other units available at the tower, ranging from a three-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom unit on the 36th floor with an asking price of $17.5 million to a four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence on the 80th floor listed at $44.2 million.
The building, designed by famed Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly, stands 1,396 feet tall, commanding striking and expansive views of New York City, from the Hudson to the East Rivers.
Residents, which according to the Real Deal include Fawaz Al Hokair, a Saudi Arabian retail magnate, and David Chu, founder of sportswear brand Nautica, will enjoy 30,000 square feet of private amenities. The perks include a screening room, a lounge, a restaurant, an outdoor terrace, a gym, a billiards room, a pool and a spa.
