While a mansion is great, a mansion with perks -- such as a helicopter -- makes the deal so much more appealing. Here is a look at three properties that have offered such sweeteners.
What’s on the market?
Hickor Creek, Texas
PRICE: $17.5 million
When the seller of a 37,000-square-foot house in Hickory Creek, Texas reduced its asking price to $17.5 million, he made another offer to sweeten the deal: If an offer was accepted by January 30, 2016, the buyer would receive two huge bonuses — a helicopter and a Rolls-Royce car valued at $1 million and $225,000 respectively. While the property is still listed for sale, the broker wouldn’t comment on whether this buy-one-get-two-free offer was still on the table. But we think it’s probably worth asking.
New Canaan, Connecticut
PRICE: $8.3 million
It’s an offer that might entice any (wealthy) car enthusiast. The buyer of this three-story mansion in New Canaan, Connecticut, not far from the town of Pound Ridge in New York’s Westchester County, will receive a generous gift with purchase: a 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. The car has only 18,000 miles and is valued around $75,000. The seller, of course, built a motor court that leads to the front of the home.

All members of the co-op in this building in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood pay no maintenance fees, and receive notable passive income from the commercial units on the ground level of the building. The ground-level luxury retail stores pay 100% of the maintenance costs and taxes, but also generate significant passive income to each shareholder.
