Yesterday we told you about Auckland’s ascent to the top of Christie’s list of the world’s hottest luxury markets, as identified by the brokerage’s LuxuryDefined 2016 report. The report defined “hottest” luxury markets as those affiliate regions that had seen the greatest growth of property sales in excess of $1 million. The darling from Down Under triumphed over Toronto to secure the top spot, with 63% growth compared to 48% respectively.
