After years of planning, securing permits and construction, the estate was finished in 2011. The couple hired a South American designer to style the interiors. All of the furnishings will be included in the sale. “We’ve always loved the Colonial style, and we dreamed of owning a home like this,” Hvid said. Amenities The main swimming pool is 75-feet-long. There’s a bar and an entertaining area nearby. The open-air pavilion overlooks a second infinity-edge pool, which offers striking views of the sea. The estate is serviced by a personal butler. The property includes nearly 100 feet of private beachfront. A funicular escorts guests down the cliff to the white, sandy beaches below. What's In a Name? Shared amenities include a beach club, a gym, a spa, tennis courts and a putting green.
