A San Clemente estate that once belonged to former President Richard Nixon made headlines last month when it listed for $75 million, making it one of the most expensive properties for sale in Orange County. A few weeks later, a Laguna Beach home known as “Twin Points” hit the market for the same price. New data suggests that home prices in the Southern California county could reach new heights. Property analytics provider CoreLogic lists the county’s median home price at $600,000, within 7% of its all-time high. Michael Shapiro of HÔM Sotheby’s International Realty in Newport Beach says that neighborhoods are shattering previous records as luxury home prices in Orange County continue to rise. “There’s a lack of inventory in prime properties and that’s driving higher prices,” says Shapiro. Here’s a look at what’s available in Orange County. These five properties, all listed on Mansion Global, range in price from $15 million to $75 million. Visit these links for the complete listings.
