High season has drawn to a close in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean island and U.S. commonwealth known for its white sand beaches and vibrant culture. Although most of the jetsetters have returned home, the island’s real estate market is heating up. Christie’s International Real Estate gave Puerto Rico the top spot on its “7 Emerging Luxury Markets to Watch in 2015” list, which identifies locations around the world that have seen renewed interest from buyers and offer attractive investment options.
