A newly built spec house in Beverly Hills with a domed ballroom and a kitchen with six ovens is listing for $72 million, according to developer Albert Elkouby. The house measures about 28,000 square feet, said Mr. Elkouby, who is listing the property with Zach Goldsmith and Jeff Hyland of Hilton & Hyland, and Jade Mills and Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Previews International. The main house six bedrooms plus staff quarters, and the property also has a guesthouse and guard house. Mr. Elkouby said he purchased the site for $18 million about six years ago and spent about five years building the house, which is intended for hosting large gatherings. “It’s a party house,” he said. The ballroom, which measures about 3,000 square feet, has two wet bars and can accommodate 200 or 300 people, he said. There is a wine cellar that holds more than 1,000 bottles, and next to it there is a wine-tasting area. There is a motor court and a parking area for about 60 vehicles, and a garage with a carwash area that accommodates up to 16 cars. The home also has a kitchen measuring roughly 1,400 square feet. Equipped for catering large events, it has six ovens, four refrigerators and four sinks, as well as a bathroom and closet for chefs. Other amenities include a movie theater, an indoor swimming pool and a spa with wet and dry saunas.
