Three-quarters of the units at the luxury condominium Pierhouse in Brooklyn are under contract, according to a spokeswoman for the developer. As it enters the latest phase of sales, developer Toll Brothers City Living has opened a model residence that will offer a glimpse of what it’s like to live in the hotel-and-residential complex. Prior to the model unit, Pierhouse had used an off-site sales gallery. Sales galleries are typically used until the building nears completion and prospective buyers can see it in person. Buyers have put deposits on the units that are under contract, although these sales won't be final until closing.

The kitchens at Pierhouse will feature Calacatta Tucci marble countertops, American walnut cabinets and wine storage for 18 bottles.

Situated just south of the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo, the two waterfront buildings will include 106 residences. Most of the one- to five-bedroom apartments are duplexes; many will feature double-height living rooms and private outdoor spaces. The model unit is a three-bedroom, 2,664-square-foot duplex located on the fifth floor of the north building. Residents will have access to the amenities at the nearby 1 Hotel, which will include a farm-to-table restaurant, a spa and a rooftop swimming pool. The price for a one-bedroom unit with one-and-a-half bathrooms is $2.55 million. The model unit is open by appointment only. Building completion is scheduled for early 2016.

The bathrooms will feature marble floors, as well as walnut and brushed nickel vanities.
