Now that the Chinese are the leading source of international property investment in the U.S., real-estate agents are looking for new ways to court these clients from abroad. One Seattle-based broker believes they may have found the solution: Bring the buyers to you. Overseas Property Professional reports on the “Fly & Buy scheme” by Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (and partner Experi Travel) that looks to provide a vacation experience for potential Chinese buyers with a real estate focus. Dean Jones, President and Chief Executive Officer of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty, says, “Specialized travel is already established with medical tourism, cosmetic tourism, eco-tourism and university tours, so why not real estate tourism?”

In addition to touring pre-selected real estate properties, each guest will enjoy shopping trips for high-end products (fashion, artwork, automobiles, etc.) through a network of local luxury brand partnerships. Guests will also experience special behind-the-scenes access to events, educational opportunities and fine dining during their stay.

The eight-day trips, beginning in November 2015, will focus on the property markets of Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles and hope to give attendees a taste of West Coast culture and the investment opportunities available. [Overseas Property Professional]View full listing (pictured top)
