A 1,000-acre estate west of Norwich, England, has hit the market Friday for £9.75 million (USD$12.8 million). Coined the Ringland Estate, the property is an extensive irrigated farm with a main home, the Ebony Hall, and three additional residential dwellings, according to the listing.
The main home is named after the current owners, the Black family, who built Ebony Hall in 2005, according to Christopher Miles of Savills, the listing agent of the property.

The Ringland Estate, named after the adjacent village of Ringland, borders the River Wensum to the North, offering an outlook over the Wensum Valley in a calm and quiet rural setting. Ebony Hall is a five-bedroom, three-story property designed around a vaulted circular hall.
The lower level features a bar and entertaining area that opens out to lush gardens. A south-facing elevated terrace provides panoramic views of the landscape.
Perched up high on a hill, Ebony Hall is very private, offering uninterrupted views of the valley and the only homes in sight are cottages that are part of the estate.

"It is built in an area you wouldn’t normally be able to build a house," Mr. Miles said, given the secluded nature and the completely uninterrupted views associated with the home. "To get such a view...is pretty unique."
Of the entire 1,000-acre estate, 589 acres are considered to be productive arable ground, all of which can be irrigated and have the potential to greatly diversify harvesting possibilities. Various cottages, storage centers, manors, and lodges are scattered throughout the agrarian estate.
The owner of the home did not immediately return a call for comment.
