A dreamy beach home with a Buddhist temple in Manalapan, Florida, might just be the priciest on-market sale in Palm Beach County’s recent history.

The six-bedroom, eight-full-bathroom waterfront mansion, dubbed "Nirvana," has sold for $21.45 million to an unnamed buyer, according to listing agent Chad Carroll of The Carroll Group at Douglas Elliman.

The secluded home was nowhere near the priciest listing on the market in the county—that honor goes to a palatial new build in Palm Beach listed for nearly $70 million. But the Manalapan home looks like it will be the highest on-market sale when it’s filed in property records, according to Redfin’s sales history for Palm Beach County.

The listing has come on and off the market since 2015 and at one point was listed for as much as $27.5 million, about 18.5% more than it eventually sold for, according to listing records.

The home sits on more than 1.5 acres of oceanfront property and has a private dock suitable for a 130-foot yacht, according to the listing. The grounds also host a tennis court, meditation garden and a pool complete with a shaded tiki hut and outdoor bar.

Inside, the house has a laundry list of amenities, including a home theater, gym, and steam and massage rooms. Clearly built with a family of eclectic tastes in mind, the house has both its own club room and a buddhist temple, according to images of the interior.

There are also flashy details like an onyx and gold master suite bathroom, coffered ceilings and a built-in fish tank, photos show.
