[Correction: An earlier version of this story wrongly stated that actress Reese Witherspoon was the owner of the home.]

A sprawling red-brick home in the tree-lined suburbs of Nashville has hit the market for $4.4 million.

The seven-bedroom house was purchased by The Dogwood Trust for $3.3 million in 2014, according to property records.

Mansion Global previously reported that actress Reese Witherspoon was behind the trust that bought the house. A representative for Ms. Witherspoon reached out to say that the actress doesn't own the home, and Ms. Witherspoon herself took to Instagram to say "This house is so pretty, but it's not mine." The "Big Little Lies" star does own several homes in the city through a trust with the same name.

The traditional-style home, with its wide, classical front porch and black shutters, was built in 2012 and has a host of modern amenities, according to the listing with agent Jane McCracken of Keller Williams, who did not immediately return a request for comment.

The column-lined front porch leads into a foyer with a sweeping curved staircase to the second level and open formal living spaces on either side.

The main attraction on the first floor is a double-height great room with vaulted ceilings and light pouring in through second-story dormer windows. It has rustic details like dark-stained exposed ceiling beams and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, according to images of the home.

The great room leads straight back into an open kitchen and informal dining area.

A summer kitchen on the back porch has marble countertops and top amenities for entertaining, including multiple grills and stove tops, a built-in humidor and a beverage fridge.

Beyond the column-lined porch is a pool, covered hot tub and freestanding, two-bedroom guest house, according to the listing.
