Two penthouses at 56 Leonard, the luxury skyscraper in Manhattan’s Tribeca known as the "Jenga Tower" thanks to its stacked exterior design by Pritzker-Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, are hitting the market as a duplex for $65 million Friday, Mansion Global has exclusively learned.

PH 53 and PH 54, both full-floor units in the 60-story tower, will create a duplex with a combined living space of approximately 12,000 square feet, according to Toni Haber of Compass, who is co-listing the penthouses with the brokerage’s president Leonard Steinberg.

"This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a trophy property in the iconic building," Ms. Haber said, adding that the penthouses can still be purchased separately for $35 million and $30 million respectively.

Combined, the duplex will offer eight bedrooms, eight full and two half bathrooms. The apartment features wood-burning fireplaces, 14-foot ceilings and 360-degree views of the New York City skyline and the Hudson River and East River. There are seven terraces exposing to all directions.

The two penthouses are both owned by South Shore Investment LLC, which closed the sale earlier this year, with PH53 selling for roughly $29 million and Ph54 for $24 million, property records show.

Ms. Haber, who declined to identify the buyers-turned-sellers behind the limited liability company, said they want to sell because "the properties don’t fit their needs any longer." They signed contracts four years ago, before the 145-unit tower opened in 2015.

The building’s amenities include a 75-foot infinity pool, theater, sundeck, fitness center, steam and sauna room and a children’s playroom. Renowned sculptor Anish Kapoor is planning to install a sculpture at the building, marking his first permanent public work in New York, according to Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, which handles sales and marketing for the building.
