While $16 million might sound like a lot of money to drop on an apartment, it could represent a huge deal for an investor who will be saving $34 million from the original asking price for this Manhattan duplex.

A 3,582 square-foot-condo at the Time Warner Center overlooking Central Park in Manhattan has been just listed for $16 million, but The Real Deal noted that it first hit the market for $50 million in 2013 and has been through several price cuts and brokers ever since.

Property records show that the current owner of the four-bedroom, four-bathroom duplex condo, which is split between the building’s 54th and 55th floors, is direct marketing mogul and self-made millionaire Cheryl Mercuris.

Features include 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, a curved staircase, a living room directly overlooking Central Park and a lavish master suite that occupies the whole of the top floor of the duplex.

Time Warner Center is a luxury condominium that consists of a pair of 80-story glass towers. Located at Columbus Circle, amenities include the One Central Park Club, the Mandarin Hotel spa and pool, a fitness center, a roof deck, an in-house garage with valet service, a full-time doorman, and a children’s playroom.
