No room in the smart home inspires more innovation than the kitchen.
Below, we’ve gathered some of the latest advancements in culinary equipment—fit for both amateur and advanced chefs alike.
GE Kitchen Hub
Finally, a fully integrated kitchen smart hub. While home owners were previously limited to a well-positioned Amazon Echo or Samsung’s touchscreen-outfitted refrigerator, the GE Kitchen Hub is a centrally located dashboard to aid and enhance all your culinary exploits. A Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled 27-inch touchscreen that sits directly above your stove, the GE Kitchen Hub not only gives users command over all their home’s connected devices but doubles as a functioning ventilator for those unexpected smokey moments. Better still, the Kitchen Hub comes equipped with stove-top facing cameras, allowing for the future potential of interactive cooking classes—or perhaps more practically (and immediately) video calling mom to show her how you’re about to mess up one of her signature recipes. Of course, Hub users will also be able to stream their favorite playlist or binge watch Netflix on the device as they prepare dinner, and in deference to food-besmirched fingers, the whole Hub is controllable via a voice-enabled assistant named Geneva.
The GE Kitchen Hub debuts Fall 2018 and will retail for $600.

Or fish. Or any number of dishes. As users prepare the 100-plus (and constantly growing) Hestan Cue recipes, the pan, burner and app are in constant, Bluetooth-based communication, automatically adjusting the temperature to optimal heat while the app's video guide offers the chef tips on precision panhandling at just the right moment.
