An heiress to the Swarovski fortune is putting her European-style Texas mansion up for auction at the end of this month.

Vanessa Swarovski, the great-great-granddaughter of the crystal company’s founder Daniel Swarovski, plans to sell the 1.7-acre luxury estate in Westlake, Texas, on June 30 through Elite Auctions, the luxury auctioneers announced on Monday. The home first hit the market last year for $3.95 million, according to listing records.

The six-bedroom estate in Tarrant County spans nearly 9,000 square feet and sits in a guard-gated community outside Dallas-Fort Worth.

The highest bidder will have celebrity neighbors including golf pro Brian Watts and baseball player Josh Hamilton, who both have homes around the posh Vaquero Club, said Randy Haddaway, president and founder of Elite Auctions, in a statement.

The home "offers the privacy of a guard-gated, amenity-laden community with the convenience of the thriving Dallas-Fort Worth metro area," Mr. Haddaway added.

The Swarovski estate has a double-height modern living room with a built-in entertainment system and a kitchen with marble countertops and travertine tile floors.

The architecture of the home is inspired by the Hill Country around Austin, Texas, with a stone exterior and a metal roof. The landscaped backyard has a pool, separate guest house and patio overlooking the Vaquero Club’s golf course. Inside, amenities include a media room, fitness studio and large master suite.

Subtle details hint at the home’s Swarovski pedigree, including crystal-adorned can lighting, a simple chandelier in the bathroom and fiber-optic lighting.

"There isn’t anything super elaborate," said Alicia Chmielewski, market director and partner at Elite Auctions. "Just about all of the recess can lighting is covered in crystals... I’ve never seen anything like it."

Ms. Swarovski bought the home in 2012 for an undisclosed amount, according to property records.

In keeping with her family’s specialty, Ms. Swarovski has her own sparkling jewelry line. Her family’s crystal company has long moved past its days as a purveyor of delicate swans and other pricey knick knacks to do art installations and high-end fashion, including supplying the crystals for the glittery, barely-there sheath Rihanna wore to the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards in 2014.

Elite Auctions is hosting a number of showings ahead of the auction, starting June 10, and interested parties can schedule private viewings. The auction will be held at the estate at 11 a.m. and will accept bids via the company’s mobile application.

Ms. Swarovski could not immediately be reached for comment.
