A townhouse in historic Brooklyn Heights has hit the market for $10 million, Mansion Global has learned.
The home is part of a larger portfolio Kushner Companies bought from Brooklyn Law School for $36.5 million in 2014 when President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner was then the chief executive. The developer sold another townhouse, one of the six properties in the portfolio, in April for $12.9 million.
This newly released brownstone townhouse at 100 Pierrepont St., re-designed by J.L. Ramirez Architects, includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms, spanning six stories, 5,900 square feet of interior living space and 1,500 square feet of outdoor space, according to the listing with Terry Naini of Brown Harris Stevens, along with Dogan Baruh and Lynne Lerner of RES New York.
The brownstone townhouse, built in 1857, was within the boundaries of Brooklyn Heights Historic District. The Landmark Preservation Commission designated the area historic to prevent "unchecked development" in 1965, the first such district in New York City.
"The property is unique because it features a fully rebuilt modern interior, while maintaining the historical pre-Civil War brownstone facade," Laurent Morali, president of Kushner Companies, told Mansion Global in an email.

"More and more buyers are looking for family homes in the city like 100 Pierrepont: a classic exterior, with an entirely rebuilt, state of the art interior–and all at a manageable size," he added.
Located on a leafy block facing the limestone New York State Supreme Court building and a few blocks from the historic Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Brooklyn Bridge, the townhouse features a bi-level garden in the backyard and a rooftop terrace with views of New York Harbor, a two-story sky-lit atrium with central staircase and soaring ceiling, and an elevator accessing all levels.
The home is equipped with an 11-zone air conditioning system, radiators and radiant heated floors.
