A financier-turned-philanthropist is hoping to double his money on his swanky pad at Manhattan’s 15 Central Park West.

Jeffrey C. Walker, who was CEO of CCMP Capital Advisors for 25 years, has just listed his four-bedroom corner apartment at the exclusive building for $38 million. This is almost double the $21 million he paid for it in 2007, according to property records.

So what do you get for all that money? For starters, the buyer will have an incredible view of Central Park, a wet bar, a study, and a master-suite with a marble bathroom and heated floors, according to the listing.

They will also have access to all the perks in the tower, which was completed in 2008 by the Zeckendorf brothers and helped start the trend for ultra luxurious buildings with super amenities.

Amenities at the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building include a residents-only restaurant, a private motor court with its own reception staff, on-site garage, a 14,000-square-foot fitness center with 75-foot indoor pool, a library and a conference room.

And it’s not just wealthy Wall Street types who own apartments at the building. The luxurious condominium counts actor Denzel Washington among its famous residents, while former baseball star Alex Rodriguez also rented an apartment there in the past.
