A penthouse perched atop Two Waterline Square, a glassy tower designed by top architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox and interior design duo Yabu Pushelberg on Manhattan’s West Side, is coming onto the market for $17.25 million Tuesday, Mansion Global has learned.
Crowning the 38th floor of the condominium tower, the residence has 4,134 square feet of interior living space, with four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a living room with a gas fireplace, an oversized open kitchen and a dining room.
Additionally, the home comes with a 1,849-square-foot outdoor terrace overlooking the Hudson River, Central Park and the city’s iconic buildings.
“The outdoor terrace, accessible through both the master bedroom and the living room, has a hot tub, an outdoor grill and lots of sitting areas—great for entertaining,” said Melissa Ziweslin, senior managing director at Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, which is handling the marketing and sales of the mega project.
Waterline Square, developed by GID Development Group on a five-acre riverfront parcel from 59th and 61st streets, consists of a trio of towers being constructed simultaneously and offers a total of 263 luxury residences.
Two Waterline Square, with 160 units—two of which are penthouses—is the largest and tallest tower among the three. The other two towers are also designed by starchitects, with One Waterline Square by Richard Meier and Partners Architects, and Three Waterline Square by Rafael Viñoly Architects.
All residents in the development have access to the Waterline Club, which offers 100,000 square feet of sports, leisure and lifestyle amenities, including an indoor tennis court, a squash court, full-court basketball, indoor soccer field, 30-foot rock climbing wall, skate park, golf simulator, a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, children’s playroom, and studios for creative types.
Two Waterline Square also has its own 11,000-square-foot amenity floor, offering a private dining room with kitchen, a salon, a river-view balcony lounge with billiards and bar and a library.
The 28,000-square-foot retail space in the tower will be anchored by the Cipriani family, with plans for restaurants, a food hall, a market and other outlets open to both the residents and the public.
Closings in the tower will commence in early 2019, according to Ms. Ziweslin.
