Top-ranked tennis pro Novak Djokovic has revealed details of his new multi-million-dollar home in the Miami Beach condo tower Eighty Seven Park.

Mr. Djokovic, a Serbian-born tennis player ranked No. 2 in the world, bought a three-bedroom, three-and-half bathroom apartment with a wraparound balcony, the athlete said in a statement released on Tuesday. His new digs are in the as-yet-uncompleted development by architect Renzo Piano, who also designed the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

He didn’t reveal how much he paid for the new pad, but three-bedrooms in the building start at $5.9 million, according to Eighty Seven Park’s website. The luxury condominium is still under construction with a completion date in 2018.

Mr. Djokovic, 29, was drawn to the building for its services, the in-house botanist and the apartment’s panoramic views, he said.

"It all provides the perfect lifestyle for me and my wife, Jelena," he added.

The apartment, one of 70 residences, will feature interiors by Renas Dumas Architecture Intérieure, including floor-to-ceiling windows and a design palette that draws on the views of surrounding North Beach, according to the developers, Terra, which is working in partnership with Bizzi & Partners Development and New Valley.

The condos range from 1,400-7,000 square feet and come with keys to the gated 35-acre North Shore Park—reminiscent of the coveted keys to New York’s exclusive Gramercy Park.

"This is an unexpected location in a neighborhood that’s rapidly growing and that’s what attracted me," Mr. Novak said.
