Movie producer Megan Ellison—daughter of technology billionaire Larry Ellison—sold her Los Angeles home last week for $4.07 million, according to listing records.

Ms. Ellison, 31, took more than a $1 million loss on the five-bedroom home, which she purchased in 2015 for $5.25 million through a limited liability company, property records show.

Spanning 4,309 square feet, the home, located in Hollywood Hills’ Mount Olympus area, is described in its listing as an "entertainer's dream." It has multiple decks, a gym, an office, a pool and ocean views. Kurt Rappaport of the Westside Estate Agency represented both Ms. Ellison and the buyer. He did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The buyer was a trust linked to new "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" castmate Teddi Jo Mellencamp, daughter of musician John Cougar Mellencamp, and her husband, security technology entrepreneur Edwin Arroyave, according to the Los Angeles Times, who first reported the sale. Mansion Global could not independently verify this. A representative for Bravo, the network behind the "Real Housewives" franchise, declined to comment.

The sale comes a matter of months after Ms. Ellison, who produced "Zero Dark Thirty," "Her" and "American Hustle," parted with a neighboring estate in an off-market deal. The price for the almost eight acres of property was $35.7 million, and included a main house with 10,000 square feet of interior living space, including six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

A representative for Ms. Ellison declined to comment on the transaction.
