Location: Miami Beach, Florida

Price: $19.5 million

This grand waterfront villa in Miami Beach’s Sunset Islands is the former home of recording artist Enrique Iglesias.

Known as Villa Jasmine, the property has dazzling views of Miami, especially at night.

"This is the premier view of the Miami skyline," said listing agent Nelson Gonzalez. "This is the view that everybody wants and few get to have."

The house was built in 1937 and "developed by Enrique Iglesias about seven years ago," he said.

"He bought it as a rundown, old-ish house and renovated and redeveloped it," Mr. Gonzalez said. "He took it and developed it into this Moorish-style Mediterranean house."

Mr. Iglesias owned it for about four years and sold it to the current owner, Mr. Gonzalez said.

"It’s on a pie-shaped lot with the widest part of the pie on the water," he explained. "It has a smallish entrance and a long driveway."

Architectural and design details include an interior courtyard with a Moroccan-style fountain, intricate doors, arched windows in rich dark wood, a wood-burning fireplace, and keystone and Saturnia floors.

The furniture can be bought for an additional fee, Mr. Gonzalez said. "The owner had it custom done for that house."

Outdoor features of Villa Jasmine include a swimming pool and waterfront spa, large manicured backyard, gazebo with a summer kitchen, long marble driveway, and several royal palm trees and other lush species.

There is also a separate two-story guesthouse, Mr. Gonzalez said. "The owner has it set up with the first floor as a theater, with a guest bedroom on the second floor, and a rooftop with a hot tub and unbelievable views of the city."

Added Mr. Gonzalez: "It’s a great house for entertaining, with great sunsets."

Sunset Islands is private and secure, "with a gate house and a guard, so it’s always been safe, and it’s very nicely manicured."
