"Little Britain" star Matt Lucas is looking to unload his Los Angeles digs for $5.35 million.

Mr. Lucas, 43, who has also played odd comedic roles in "Bridesmaids" and "Alice in Wonderland," put the home on the market in May.

The actor is poised to make a pretty profit if he can sell his house for the asking price. He bought the Los Angeles villa when he first moved to the United States for $2.9 million in 2011, according to property records.

Mr. Lucas shared the home with actress Rebel Wilson for a spell, before the "Perfect Pitch" star bought her own Los Angeles pad, Mr. Lucas previously told the BBC, calling Ms. Wilson and himself "bosom buddies."

The 3,840-square-foot home sits behind a tall hedge and has a gated entry for optimum privacy. Inside, there’s an open kitchen and dining room with a fireplace, a library, office and guest suite, according to the listing with Delphine Mann of Coldwell Banker.

Ms. Mann did not immediately return a request for comment.

Images of the home show Mr. Lucas has decorated it with a glossy white piano, sangria-colored velvet dining chairs and a walk-in closet decked out in Arsenal Football Club paraphernalia.

The secluded outdoor spaces encompass an oxygenated lagoon pool and spa, a fire pit and patio spaces overlooking gardens and the home’s ivy-covered exterior.

The property has an additional two-story guest house with a screening room, kitchenette and two bedrooms.

Mr. Lucas might be counting his lucky stars that he is selling in the U.S. market, as the luxury sector back home in the U.K. has suffered since the British vote to leave the European Union and additional taxes recently levied on high-end homes in London.

It’s not clear whether the actor is headed back across the pond or looking for a change of scenery in Los Angeles.
