Sydney’s Largest Beachfront Property May Be Close to Selling After seven years on and off the market, Sydney’s largest private bit of beachfront is rumored to be close to being sold. Marara, which is owned by the co-founder of Mortgage Choice Peter Higgins, has 119 meters of sand, a deep waterfront, and a jetty on 12,685 square meters of waterfront. The property’s guide price is A$26 million (US$21 million), which includes three homes, two boathouses, a jetty and a slipway. Realestate.com.au

Ontario Real Estate Association Seeks Higher Fines for Rule-Breaking Agents The Ontario Real Estate Association would like to see fines doubled for real estate agents who break rules, considering how big the commissions are in the county’s highly inflated market. The association produced a white paper proposing that brokers who violate the ethics code from the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act should pay a fine from C$50,000-$100,000 (US$40,000-$80,000). Last year, the average fine was just C$6,000 (US$4,789). BNN

It is the perfect place to live, according to the travel experts: on the waterfront, south of downtown Dubai, and intersected by the Dubai Canal, with a 12-kilometer boardwalk. There’s good ferry access, and a farmers’ market on Bay Avenue. 1010 Brickell is Completed and Sold Out for $262 Million 13th Floor Investments and Key International have just completed 1010 Brickell, a Miami condominium tower directly across the street from the Tenth Street Promenade Metromover station and close to the Shops at Mary Brickell Village. The 389-unit building, 50-story building designed by Sieger Suarez is 99% sold, with only three units to go, and a total sales price of $262 million.
