For the First Time in Years, U.K. Rents Dropped in the Summer National asking rents in Britain fell 0.2% in the three months to September, said Rightmove, the first time rents have seen a decline during this busy time of year since the company started tracking data in late 2011. The drop is thought to be due to an excess of inventory as landlords move out of London’s slow market and bring new rental properties into other parts of the country. Though prices declined in Greater London, Yorkshire, and the Humber, rents increased in other parts of the U.K., most notably with a 2.6% bump in the northeast region. South China Morning Post

The lot currently has a grass tennis court on-site and is zoned to build a structure of 10,000 square feet, as well as a pool and pool house. Curbed Hamptons

Approvals and Sales Keep Rising in Australia’s New Homes Market, but Growth Slows New home approvals in Australia rose for the seventh month in a row as of August, increasing 1.1%, though falling below last year’s record levels, according to data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. New home sales also continued to rise but at slower rates, increasing by 9.1% in September, thanks in large part to robust growth in Victoria and Western Australia. PropertyWire
