U.K. residents spend 27.1% of their incomes on housing and utilities, according to data from Eurostat, making them among the most cost-burdened residents of the E.U. The only countries with higher housing costs are Denmark (where residents pay 29.1% of their income), and Finland (where residents pay 28.4%). On average, Europeans spend 24.5% of their income on housing, and the cheapest place to live is Malta. City A.M.

Wayne Brady Lists His Sherman Oaks Home for $3 Million Television host Wayne Brady has put his Sherman Oaks home on the market for $3 million, after purchasing it two years ago for slightly more than $2.5 million. Co-Living Trend Is Taking off for Wealthy Young Chinese Developers are working quickly to provide high-end co-living options for Chinese renters as the trend gains in popularity and receives government backing. One new Beijing project, Longfor, will include 462 rooms for rent, co-working space, a cafeteria, gym, pool, and tennis tables. It’s currently 60% leased, with prices 15% to 20% higher than other co-living spaces in the area, bringing rents to 4,190 yuan (US$633) per month for a 15 square meter room. South China Morning Post

Concerns over Dubai’s Oversupply Problem Are Overblown, Say Developers Amid concerns about excess supply in Dubai’s housing market, some developers are confident that the flood of new apartments won’t pose a problem. In the next five years, 163,840 units are expected to be built, but Hussain Sajwani of Damac calculated the need for 20,000 new homes per year, a figure that falls short of other current building forecasts. "This is still short of the supply needed to balance demand in Dubai," he said. "Fears of oversupply are blown out of proportion." Khaleej Times
