Singer-actress Mandy Moore has bought a four-bedroom, three-bathroom mid-century modern home in Pasadena, California, for $2.562 million.

Ms. Moore, who currently stars in the hit NBC family drama "This Is Us," closed on the property at the end of December, using her father, Donald Moore, as trustee, according to county property records.

A listing for the property says well-known Chicago-area architect R. Harold Zook designed the home, though it was completed in 1950, a year after his death.

Ms. Moore’s new home sits on 1.45 acres in the Linda Vista neighborhood of Pasadena, and has 360-degree views of the San Gabriel mountains, according to a listing with Hilton & Hyland.

Ms. Moore, 32, got a bit of a discount on her new home, having swooped in shortly after the seller reduced the price from $3.2 million to $2.645 million—before negotiating the price down another $80,000.

The Los Angeles Times, which first reported the sale, noted that Ms. Moore sold her Los Feliz home last year.

The agency billed the home as an "entertainer’s paradise," and touted floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a breakfast nook that "spills" out into the patio.

An oversized patinaed copper hood sets the focal point for a formal dining room, and skylights let light into the kitchen and a room that was most recently used as a study.

Images of the home show an outdoor reflection pond brimming with aquatic foliage wrapping around part of the house. The property also has a swimming pool, pergola-covered patio and landscaped yard with a number of stone benches.

A publicist for Ms. Moore did not immediately return requests for comment.
