A renovated 1930s Spanish-style home built by the original owners of Ralph’s grocery chain in the celebrity-favored Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles hit the market Friday for $8.495 million.

The home’s elaborate ownership history goes beyond the Ralph family, which founded the Southern California supermarket—now owned by Kroger—in the late 19th century. Soap opera actor Ronn Moss, the chisel-jawed fashion magnate in "The Bold and the Beautiful," later owned the white-stucco and red-roofed house for decades, property records show.

The soap star’s former home on Nottingham Avenue spans 7,200 square feet with a tree-lined backyard and sweeping views of the city.

In 2015, Mr. Moss sold the property to Jeffrey Yohai, the son-in-law of Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s disgraced former campaign chairman, who is now facing charges of money laundering and other financial crimes.

Shortly after his purchaseMr. Yohai went bankrupt and his lenders sold off the house to a set of Hollywood managers in June, according to property records. One of the managers confirmed the home was purchased as an investment opportunity.

The owners have spent the past year restoring the six-bedroom house to its original aesthetic while adding a slew of modern amenities, according to the listing with agent JoshMyler, a director at The Agency.

The brokerage said it’s been shopping the home around as a pocket listing and will put it on the market on Friday.
