Location: Brooklyn, N.Y.
Price: $13.75 million
The top-to-bottom renovation of this more than 6,300-square-foot townhouse in Brooklyn Heights is nearing completion.
The project’s architect is Jose Ramirez, who designed the Puck Penthouses, a collection of six loft residences in the famed Puck Building on the cusp of Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.
An elevator services each of the home’s five levels, including the rooftop terrace, which features an outdoor kitchen. “So many of the houses in the Heights don’t have elevators,” said listing agent Karen Heyman of Sotheby’s International Realty.
The entrance to the home is on the garden level, which includes a kitchen and a den with terrace access. “It has the highest ceilings on every level that I have ever seen in a townhouse,” Heyman said.
The parlor level is located on the next floor. It includes a living room, a dining room and a library with a fireplace. The master suite spans the entire third floor. It features a master bathroom and three walk-in closets. Four bedrooms with private bathrooms are spread across the fourth and fifth floors.
The property belongs to the developer, Kushner Companies. It was previously owned by the Brooklyn Law School. Kushner Companies is converting three properties in Brooklyn Heights into luxury townhomes, including 100 Pierrepoint Street and 27 Monroe Place, which is not yet on the market.
“Like Brooklyn Heights, these townhomes are steeped in character and historic charm,” said Patrick Crosetto, chief operating officer for Kushner Companies, in an email.
The townhouse is slated for completion in March.
